Office Assistant

Fishing Station is seeking a highly organised and detail-oriented Office Assistant to join our dynamic team in Mona Vale, NSW. As an Office Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting the day-to-day operations of our growing business and will work closely with the accounts and online team.

 

Key responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the management team,
  • Handling incoming and outgoing stock orders
  • Entering stock into our POS/inventory system
  • General maintenance of inventory
  • Picking, packing and dispatching orders
  • Organising freight consignments
  • Website backend maintenance

 

What we're looking for

  • Attention to detail and a keen eye for accuracy
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Be punctual and reliable
  • Proficient in using Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Adaptability and a willingness to learn new skills and systems as needed
  • Some knowledge of e-commerce and online business would be beneficial but not essential

Retail Sales Professional

Flexible: Casual/Part Time/ Full-Time Must be available weekends and public holidays

Fishing Station, Sydney’s premier fishing store is looking for a friendly, motivated, and customer-focused Retail Sales Professional to provide excellent customer service and to drive sales in our fast-growing business.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist customers with product selection and offer expert advice on fishing tackle, gear, and accessories

  • Maintain a tidy and organised store environment

  • Replenish stock and assist with inventory management

  • Provide excellent customer service and drive sales

  • Keep up to date with the latest fishing products and trends

  • Assist with pick/packing online orders 

  • Other ad-hoc tasks

What We’re Looking For:

  • A passion for fishing and the outdoors

  • Previous retail or sales experience

  • Friendly, approachable, and reliable with a strong work ethic

  • Good communication skills and a team player

  • Ability to work on weekends and during peak retail periods

  • Physically capable of lifting stock and standing for extended periods
